Your relationship may not always get the focus and attention it deserves. This is that time to honor your partnership, give dedicated focus to yourself and your partner, to cultivate a deeper connection.

Now is
your time

Every couple faces conflict, stress, and communication challenges. Why not do so with a little grace for one another?

This group is a place that gives you support to talk through challenges together accompanied with the guidance and help of a therapist who specializes in relationships.

You will learn more about your areas of growth, what you can do about them and highlight your own unique strength areas as a couple.

What is this group all about?

compassionate communication

Based in non-violent communication, we will utilize tools to practice reflective listening and assertive expression by getting clear on feelings and needs.

Each session includes tools and resources plus a couples workbook, ice breakers, mindfulness practices, couple's co-regulation exercises, and reflection questions.

Couples work takes two

Rekindle the Romance

What we will cover

01

Personality and Stress

Each couple has stressors and personality differences. We will look at your unique areas of stress and how you address them as a couple.

02

Communication and conflict resolution

Compassionate communication comes into play here with feelings, emotions, and understanding + reflective listening and assertive expression.

03

finances and spirituality

Understanding where you each stand on big topic areas such as finances and spirituality will help to see more clearly what your wants and needs are and how to respect one another's differences.

04

romance, sex, and affection

Whether you want more sex in your relationship or different types of affectionate touch, we'll go over this and how to ask for it from your partner. We also talk about family of origin and how where you come from can influence how you show love and connection.

05

closeness and flexibility

The couples assessment maps a chart where you land on the areas of closeness and flexibility as a couple. We will discuss how this plays out in your relationship to give you more clarity as a couple.

By the end of the 5 weeks you will have a greater awareness of your areas of growth and how you will work on them together.

You will have greater confidence in dealing with conflict and stressors in your relationship.

You will be empowered to communicate more effectively together.

faq

Are there recordings of the calls?

The zoom sessions are not recorded to ensure privacy and confidentiality of anything that is discussed within the group. You will need to be able to attend each session to get the most out of the group work.

Are we expected to openly share during the group?

No, sharing is completely up to you. None of the assessment results from your couple assessment will be shared in the group.  We will have some ice breaker questions, and various group practices, but discussion will be primarily between you and your partner (on mute).

Is there a time we can meet with you individually?

Yes, I offer an add-on option at check-out to sign up for 1 individual session in the month of April to receive personalized feedback about your couples assessment, ask questions, and review any areas you'd like to get more support with.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes, you can email Hello@ChristyChadwick.com to discuss payment plans. Payments can be customized to meet your financial needs. Also, scholarship options are available for qualifying couples.

How long is the assessment?

The couples assessment takes about 25 minutes to complete. You and your partner will complete it separately. It's encouraged not to discuss it until after both of you have completed it.  It must be done prior to the first group meeting.

WILL we receive workbooks?

Yes, each of you will get a copy of the workbooks sent directly to your mailing address that you provide after you sign up. You will also get a PDF copy so you have an electronic version as backup.

kind words from clients

“Christy is kind, transparent, helpful, flexible, understanding, challenging, committed, and thorough in her work. I felt like she understood what I was trying to convey even when I couldn’t clearly articulate it for myself and this made a drastic difference in what I was able to work on and how quickly I was able to start making progress on it. She understood my patterns and created plans that were custom to helping me make progress. I’ve already recommended her to friends and would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing help.”

—annonymous

"I've always felt like there is more to my story and who I am but I was unsure of where to find the answers. Scheduling my astrology reading required me to step outside of my comfort zone. Embry revealed a world of personal understanding and I'm eternally thankful."

—annonymous

“Christy holds a safe space with so much compassion. I know she is hearing me because she reflects back exactly what I'm feeling without me having to put it into words.”

—annonymous

“Working with Christy helped us see our patterns as a couple from where we get stuck and when we take things personally.  We were able to get more insight into what we both wanted in our relationship and how to get there.”
